Consumers can expect to see a rise in the average cost of a loaf of bread. This is a result of President Vladimir Putin’s ban on Russian wheat exports. The ban which came into effect on the 15 of August this year will last for four months. Fifi Peters spoke to some people in Grahamstown to see how the price increase would affect them. So if bread goes up we will struggle in some areas and this might affect them as well at school. And we have no choice but to buy bread which is why I say it might affect us
